Once you open your new updated app, it will congratulate you on updating and ask you to enter a nickname for your device.
Make sure you are using the app rather than the web browser on your phone or tablet.
You could name it 'My phone' or 'My tablet' depending on what device you are using.
Once you've done this, tap 'Proceed'.
You will then be asked for permission to send a One Time Passcode (OTP) to the phone number we have on record for you.
Tap 'Allow' and you should get your code through within a minute.
If you are in an area with poor connection, it may take slightly longer for the OTP to get to you.
Once received, type the OTP into the box. Please allow a minute for the code to come through, or longer if you are in a poor connection area.
If you haven't received it, tap the 'Resend' option underneath the text box.
You will then be offered the option of using Face ID or fingerprint recognition/Touch ID to log in to your account.
If you have an Android phone you will only have the option of Touch ID at the moment.
If you want to go ahead and set up, tap 'Enable Now'.
If you don't want to set it up now but may want to at a later date, tap 'Later'.
If you don't want to log in using either, tap 'Opt Out'. This screen won't appear again and you will log in the same way as before using your membership number and password.
You will then need to accept the T&Cs to continue.
Please read them by tapping 'Terms and Conditions' and then tap 'Proceed' if you are happy.
You will then see a pop-up asking you to allow the app to use Face ID or Touch ID.
Tap 'OK' for Face ID or touch your fingerprint to confirm and you will have successfully enabled it.
You'll then be logged in and will be taken to your dashboard.
Next time you go to log in you can just tap the smiley Face ID icon or the fingerprint Touch ID icon.
You can disable or enable Face ID or Touch ID at any time by going to Settings within the app.
