How to get online


We have recently updated our online banking and mobile app. This means you will need to re-register and download our new app.

This page contains a step-by-step guide. Be sure to watch our video to see the registration process in action!

Before you begin


You will need the following to complete the process:

You will need this to receive your One Time Passcode

You can find your Membership Number at the top of emails and letters we send you! You can also find out your Membership Number in Step 3 below.

If you are registering on a mobile phone, you need our new mobile app for the process to work. To do this you need to delete your old one you have with us and follow one of the links below.

You don't need the app to register on a normal laptop or desktop computer.

Before you can log in to your new online banking, you need to re-register. 

Once you've completed the instructions on this page, click on "Login" at the top of the page. Once you are on the "Login" page, click on the "New User Registration" button at the bottom.

Enter your Membership Number, Your National Insurance number (IN ALL CAPS), and Date of Birth, and select Validate.

From now on your Membership Number will be your new username when logging in. You can find your Membership Number at the top of emails and letters that we send you.

Click "Allow" so we can send a One Time Passcode (OTP) to the mobile phone we have on record for you. Once you receive the OTP, enter it in the box provided and click "Validate"

If you do not receive your OTP within a minute, please select "Resend". This Passcode will be valid for 60 minutes. If you are in an area with poor network, the SMS may take longer to reach you. You can always come back later and start the registration again.

If you do not receive a Passcode after multiple attempts, contact us to update your mobile number on our system.

Upon successful validation, you will be taken to a screen where you can create a new password and set yourself a security question. Please remember these details as you will need them to login.

Please note your password should have:

  • At least 8 characters and not more than 16 characters.
  • At least one upper case character (A-Z)
  • At least one number (0-9)
  • At least one of the following special characters: ! " $ % ^ & * ( )
    • please do not use the £ sign.

Please note your memorable answers should have:

  • At least 6 characters and not more than 16 characters.

You have now successfully registered for online banking. Please read the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Notice, before clicking "Proceed" to continue.

You can now log in to your online banking account!

Having some trouble?


We understand that sometimes things don't run as smoothly as we'd like. Check below for a list of common troubleshooting problems:

  1. Please note that you need to register before you can log in. Click on "New User Registration at the bottom of the login page.

  2. Please remember to delete your old app and download the new one - the old app no longer works!

  3. Please enter your National Insurance number in ALL CAPS and without spaces

  4. Please remember that your new password needs:

    1. At least 8 characters and no more than 16 character

    2. At least one upper case character (A-Z)

    3. At least one number (1-9)

    4. At least one of the following special characters: ! " $ % ^ & * ( )

    5. Please do not use the £ symbol

  5. Please note your memorable answers should have:

    1. At least 6 characters and no more than 16 characters
