Caitlin joins our Customer Service Team

At the end of 2022, Caitlin joined *The Penny Post Group‘s Customer Service Team as our newest apprentice. Let’s catch up with her and find out how she’s been getting on!

How did you find out about The Penny Post Group and Voyager Alliance ?

“I studied Business in the past and covered Fraud and Finances and touched on not-for-profit organisations, but before joining I didn’t know too much about credit unions. I knew I wanted a career change which would stretch me and that’s where I came across The Penny Post Group”

What kept you busy before joining us?

“For the past 2 years I worked in security. I started off as a Sale Consultant and really began to understand the security sector. Over those 2 years, I was able to work out on the ground too! I remember my first time out on the job was Manchester Pride, the atmosphere was breathtaking. I loved it!”

“I really enjoyed working at Lytham Festival. I was so lucky to see Diana Ross, Lewis Capaldi and TLC, all while at work!”

“My biggest job in security was working the late Her Majesty the Queens funeral in 2022. Being at Windsor Castle seeing how the country came together to mourn was so heartwarming. I know opportunities like this do not come around often, I was honoured to have been there.”

I loved that every day was different, but I fancied a change. I wanted to push myself further and expand my skills. I have only been a part of the team for a couple of months, but I can already see how much I have developed professionally and personally! I am really grateful for my colleagues. They help me so much.”

Caitlin also enjoys baking in her spare time. We all can’t wait to try her sweet treats in the office soon!
